At Margaret Brent Elementary School, our Student Council Association (SCA) stands as the heart and voice of our vibrant community. Together, our SCA Representatives embrace the warmth of collaboration, leading initiatives that ignite positive change within our Bobcat family and the larger community around us.

As part of our SCA, students take the lead in shaping meaningful projects that resonate with our school's spirit and values. During our meetings, we come together, share inspiring ideas, and cast our votes to bring these initiatives to life. It's in these gatherings that we celebrate teamwork and empower one another to make a difference.

Past projects reflect our commitment to unity and service. From Spirit Days that foster camaraderie to the Recycled Art Project that champions sustainability, our SCA members have left their mark. Initiatives like SockTober, Have a Heart for Animals, CANstruction, and the Bobcat Bundles Project highlight our dedication to helping those in need, spreading kindness, and learning from our community.

In collaboration with our local Marine Corps Family Team Building (MCFTB) representatives and parent volunteers, we are proud to offer a Military Kids Club (MKC) here at MBES! The club is open to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who are currently or formerly military connected. Our community has many military members who live off post and may be missing the camaraderie with others who experience the same lifestyle. We understand our military kids are special, proud, and experience unique challenges. The mission of MKC is to bring military kids together to bond in their experiences, develop important resiliency skills, and help them feel connected to MBES through active participation in school service projects focusing on our military community.
