• Goal 1:  Support high expectations for academic performance and expand opportunities for every student.
  • Objective:  Stafford County Public Schools will close performance gaps between reporting categories, improving performance for every student. 
    • Target 1:  By the end of the 2023-24 school year, all students will make their projected growth based on the math MAP data (2-5) or will meet benchmark in AMC (K-1)
    • Target 2:  By the end of the 2023-24 school year, 100% of students will pass their reading SOL and PALS End of Year Benchmark.

WatchDOGS Volunteers

MBES is thrilled to share a wonderful opportunity for the fathers and father-figures of our students. We love having volunteers in our building. This school year, we hope to have even more male role models engaged in our school. To help us achieve this goal, we utilize the National Program called WATCH D.O.G.S. WatchDOGS volunteers will be in the presence of an educator, so you do not need to be fingerprinted by Stafford Schools. Every visitor will sign in and have an ID scanned by the front office. Car Rider Information

In the Morning: 

• We will start accepting students into the building at 8:10 am. 
• Please pull up to the farthest cone so that cars can be unloaded at the same time. 
• Staff will be in the building waiting to guide students to their classrooms. 

In the Afternoon: 

• Car riders will begin dismissing students as close to 3:00 pm as possible. 
• Please have your car rider number hanging in a visible place to assist staff so your child is ready when you get to the loading area. (Hanging it from the rearview mirror is helpful)
• Students will be standing at a colored cone waiting for their car to pull up. 
• If a school-issue car rider number is not displayed, children WILL NOT be released in the car rider line. You must park and come to the front office with a photo id to pick up your child. 

Expectations: 

• NEVER pass cars in the loading/unloading zone
• SAFETY FIRST! 
• Only students would be exiting the vehicle. 
• NEVER leave your car unattended.

How to Obtain a Car Rider Number:

1. Complete the Google Form
2. Pick up your number from the front office (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:45 pm). Please bring your ID.
